Radney Joins Darius for the Fourth Annual Darius & Friends Benefit Concert

Radney will join close friend, Darius Rucker for the fourth annual “Darius and Friends” benefit concert in Nashville, TN on Monday, June 3 at the Wildhorse Saloon, officially kicking off the CMA Music Festival week! All proceeds from this show will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“We started this event with a simple goal in mind, and that was to raise money for St. Jude. I had visited their campus in Memphis and was so blown away at the facility, staff, and service that I made a pledge to contribute annually. It’s a bonus that I have had such amazing friends join us in the effort,” adds Darius.

This concert in conjunction with a charity auction and celebrity golf tournament has already raised $125,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Radney is honored to be a guest on the already sold out show!

Radney Foster Releases “Louisiana Blue” to Support Hurricane Relief

Two months after Hurricane Isaac devastated Louisiana, Radney Foster has teamed up with The American Red Cross to help victims of the natural disaster. Proceeds from the iTunes sales of his video, “Louisiana Blue,” will go to help those in need. The song features Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks on fiddle. Download and donate HERE.

“I send this out as a prayer to all of our friends and family in Louisiana who’ve recently been hit by Hurricane Isaac,” Radney said. “Our hearts are with you.”

The beautiful cinematography of Venice, Louisiana in “Louisiana Blue” was shot 28 days before the hurricane by award-winning music video director Steve Boyle, who first worked with Radney when he directed Foster & Lloyd’s music video “Texas In 1880” in 1988. Steve has directed five Foster & Lloyd music videos – including their reunion video “It’s Already Tomorrow” (2011) – and has over thirty awards for his work in music television.
